The advertised item did not have no picture but no where it was mentioned that it is bare lamp they are selling not the whole replacement lamp.
i will have to order a new lamp as it will more costly for me to send it back after paying shipping and custom and vat duties in my country.

Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W3 Digital Camera with 3.5-Inch LCD Review

Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W3 Digital Camera with 3.5-Inch LCD
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am a long time fan of 3D and a geek, this camera was an excellent fit for me. It produces very clear, perfect 3D images with good depth. The 3.5 inch screen on the back is very High resolution (1.15 million pixels) and Displays 3D without the need for Glasses. The screen is suitable for Viewing 3D and can display a nice 3D "pop out the screen" effect if you compose the shot correctly. Everyone that has seen the camera's screen is amazed at the quality and 3D effect. There is nothing on the market to compare with this Fuji W3 at the moment, AIPTEK has a low end $200 3D camera and Panasonic has a $1400 3D HD video cam.
This is a good addition to anyone who has a 3D HDTV or 3D projector, considering there is very little to watch in 3D at the moment. The Footage looks very good on the big screen. I am watching it on a 100" projection Screen with Nvidia 3D vision Glasses and the effect is amazing. The Best 3D I have ever seen on the consumer market.
The price tag is a little high, it still makes great sense for anyone that has invested in a 3D TV and shutter glasses. 3D and 2D may also be displayed on a TV using the built in HDMI port on the Camera (adapter required)
Fuji also offers an expensive 3D printing service that will print 3D photos for about $7 per 5x7 print.
Videos are recorded in resolution up to 720P in 3D or 2D. They look sharp and clear. They may be converted to work with Youtube 3D very easily using the FinePix Studio software that comes with the camera. Youtube 3D let's people watch your videos in various 3D formats, with or without glasses.
I am overall very pleased with the W3
Cons:
1. Battery life is ~1 hour - Buy a couple spare batteries - they are as low as $4.00 on Amazon
2. 3D Shooting distance should be no less than 4 feet in auto mode, anything that comes in closer than 4 feet should be small and centered, it may even pop out of the screen!
3. Buy a medium - large case, the camera is a little large for a point and shoot.
4. Format the memory card once you install it, I ran into issues with videos cutting off until formatted.
5. 3D is not for everyone! Avoid the W3 If you cannot tolerate 3D..
6. The screen must be in the center of your field of vision for the 3D effect to work.
7. Video recordings cut off at 11 Minutes in HQ mode and begin a new recording. May be stitched together with software. Video Frame rate is very respectable for a flash recorder but not perfect, way better than the AIPTEK.
I have some movies on youtube 3D - converted with Stereo Movie Maker, search for JJROBOTEK FUJI
Use the 3D button on the player to pick your glasses format.

If your like me, I wanted an HDTV without paying a fortune, and this is the one to get. Under $600 at Walmart in Nov. 08. I had a Comcast tech hook up my HD box and this TV was accepting the 1080i signal even though the ad says 720p. The picture looks like a bright and vibrant professionally taken photograph! No complaints. What I really liked is sometimes the HD signal will cut off the bottom and top of the picture but the VISIO has an easy menu that quickly allows you to adjust the vertical size without distorting the picture so you can always watch a full screen. Sound quality is pretty good with the built in speakers but would be awesome with a surround sound system. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed with the purchase of this HDTV. Nice looking TV too! Remote is simply laid out, user friendly and functional without being overly complicated. This is the VW37L model which is the newest offering from VISIO. I am a happy HDTV camper!

Panasonic TH-50PZ77U 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV Review

Panasonic TH-50PZ77U 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV
Average Reviews:

I had been researching HDTVs for the past 6 months before finally, settling on this model. I decided to go with the Plasma over the LCD mainly, because plasma offers much better PQ and motion for the money and I didn't want to sacrifice size. The new Pioneers are very nice but way too expensive if you ask me. So it came down to the Samsung 5084 or one of the Panasonic 1080p models. For a long time the specs of the Samsung had me leaning that way. However, after seeing one in person I was not that impressed, it looked cheap. Panasonic also has a much better track record for reliability when it comes to Plasmas (they are rated for 100,000 hours vs. 50,000 - 60,000 hours of other manufactures). No knock on Samsung they make great LCDs check out there 71 or 81 series.
The 3 current Panasonic models are the PZ77U, PZ700U, PZ750U. The 3 models can all be purchased within about $250 of each other (MSRP range from $2800 to $3500). The 77U and 700U are almost identical with the exception that the PZ77U has an anti-glare screen and the PZ700U has a slightly upgraded speakers package (who buys a 50" plasma for speakers anyway?). The 750U adds to the 700U a third HDMI input and more picture settings (I was going to go with this model but the HDMI input is right in the middle front of the TV?). Panasonic has a very highly rated anti-glare screen, not to be confused with anti-glare coating found on the 700U and 750U; they are not the same thing. I went with this model because the anti-glare screen actually increases the contrast. So far I have had it for 3 months and been extremely happy with my purchase from 6ave.

Recently picked up a 50S14 from Best Buy, at the time I was under the impression it was the same as a S1 but with a VGA input (no speaker input though so what's the point of the VGA?). This apparently was not the case as this S14 is actually a slight downgrade from the S1. Panasonic specs claim the 50S14 does not have the Neo Panel and the accompanying extra 1,000 or so shades of degradation and does not have a Game Mode (which is supposed to brighten up the screen and eliminate any lag- lag is not an issue to begin with and you can probably brighten up the screen yourself). The other difference which may be a big deal for some is that the 50S14 claims to only have 900 or more lines of moving resolution while the S1 and better models are capable of the full 1080 lines of moving resolution. This may not be a big deal as most people probably couldn't tell the difference anyways. In all, the specs on this tv would have made it pretty darn spiffy back in '08 but by 2010 standards it's getting obsolete. If you are willing to spend a little more locally or take the chance of ordering a tv online you can definitely get a better set for a similar or lesser price. If I would have known all this at the time I probably would have just settled on a 42S1 for the Neo panel, 1080 lines of moving resolution and game mode but I do really love having a 50" set from a local store with a very good return policy.
As for gaming, plasma beats LCD any day of the week. I have owned a few LCD's lately (all were returned) ranging from the ho-hum 60hz 8ms to 120hz 6ms and both had about a half second lag that I never even noticed until I gamed on the plasma with 600hz .0001 ms. It was like night and day. I swear the plasma knows what button I'm going to hit before I hit it, it is that responsive (perhaps LCD with lower ms would help here). I have not seen any motion blur or pixelation with the plasma, things I commonly saw on both the 60 and 120hz LCDs (again, LCd with lower ms would help here for the pixelation).
My main gripe about all plasmas in general is that they are much dimmer than any LCD (apparently LCDs are unnaturally bright, but for sports I think this gives it a superior picture quality, I love those crips, white uniforms and an overly sharp image)
In all, I do love my new plasma even if its not the best thing out there. If you can find a deal on one of these S14's I recommend it but make sure to shop around a little bit first, many places are dealing on their 2009 plasma models right now since the 2010 models are coming out.

Panasonic SC-HT730 5-Disc DVD Home Theater System Review

I got it this thanks giving. I was keen on getting one and was waiting for a decent deal. Finally got it for $199. A great price for this system. It took me less than an hour to set it all up. Sound clarity is great! I use it my living room (15x25 feet) and it sounds really nice.
The only negative was that speakers/woofer connects thro the DVD player which means you can't use it while playing TV/cable/VCR. But that could be easily fixed - I had to get a audio-video cable (for 3 bucks) to give my TV output to the DVD player and it worked just fine.
Overall, an excellent home theater system!

Panasonic TH-42PX77U 42-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV Review

Panasonic TH-42PX77U 42-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a preliminary review of my 42PX77U. I ordered this TV on Amamzon thru Vanns.com, and was very pleased with the entire transaction. It arrived on 7/30 so I've only had a few days to form this opinion, but I doubt it will go down.
I did a lot of research on HDTVs and the majority of what I read pointed me towards plasmas and Panasonic (quality/price ratio). Cnet.com was a great tool along with other customer reviews from different sites, including amazon. The picture, to me, seems much more realistic than LCD. Once you adjust the picture settings off Vivid and create a more realistic view, you begin to be amazed at the clarity and realism.

Some of the nice benefits to this model are the anti-reflective coating on the screen. I cannot control 100% of the light in my living room during the day and knew this feature would come in handy, and it has. It's $100 more from the base model, but it's worth it. The image is just as clear as the non-treated screen (42PX75U). The side speakers are great and produce clear audio. I also believe they help produce a wider range of sound coming from the TV. I do not have surround sound set up yet, but am quite pleased with the TV's audio. Having picture setting memory for each video input is great. I can have my HD cable, DVD and Wii set to three different settings that help compliment each experience.
Many folks comment on the poor standard definition viewing on their HDTVs, and I've witnessed it myself on some DLPs. But this TV can produce a nice, clear picture on non-HD channels. (A BIG plus given there are far more non-HD channels)
My TV is setup using the provided stand, which was fairly easy to assemble. Total assembly time, 5 minutes.
Lastly, I've been concerned with possible "burn-in" so I've scaled down the picture settings and only watch TV in "Just" mode to fill the entire screen. Panasonic recommends doing this for at least the first 100 hours during the TV's break-in period. Honestly, even with the picture setting scaled down, the HD picture still looks great. I guess everything is relative.
Bottom line, you cannot go wrong with this TV. You'll have a hard time finding a better TV at this price ($1350). If you buy online, do your research and make sure your vendor is reputable and a valid reseller of the brand you're planning to purchase. Local retailers will come close to the online price, but have a hard time keeping the TV in stock. That's why I purchased mine online...quicker turnaround. Good luck!

Philips SDV2950/27 UHF Digital and Analog Indoor/Outdoor TV Antenna Review

Philips SDV2950/27 UHF Digital and Analog Indoor/Outdoor TV Antenna
Average Reviews:

The antenna works very well. I installed in the attic and it pulls in stations from as far away as 60 miles and does not seem to be too directional. The problem with the description is where it describes the size of the product. The size given is 15.2 x 4 x 27.8 inches. This is a very accurate measurement of the size of the BOX the product comes in. The length was important to me since I was planning to put it inside a cabinet. It turns out that the product itself, when assembled (very easy to do), is 48 inches long with an oblong cross-section of about 3 x 4 inches and a larger center portion. Thus the attic installation. Great product - description needs work!

I've had this TV for over 7 years now. It's been a good TV, picture is now starting to blur in some areas. Compared to some of the newer (higher priced) HDTV's on the market this doesnt really compare. The picture quality is ok, but not crystal sharp. Average Reviews:

I was undecided between this 2009 model and last year's LN40A550.
The features are substantially identical, but after figuring that the difference between best prices for the two, which I could find after extensive shopping around, was only $50, I went for newer one for its updated look and lighter weight.
In the reviews, one of the principal complaints for 2008 was the sound quality. I can't directly compare 2009 and 2008, but found 2009's LN40B550 to have perfectly adequate, if not excellent speakers, as far as TVs go.
Picture quality, menus, setup are excellent as expected.
One aspect that I did find puzzling is Wiselink not being able to recognize my old trustworthy USB Flash Drive. I even tried formatting the drive in various ways, unfortunately none of the tricks worked.
Perhaps, it's the ancient drive not being comparable in some way, but it had never let me down before. Anyhow, I ordered a few different flash drives, and will try again, and then post an update.
====================================
Tried four various flash drives, all of them work just fine in computers, all four freshly formatted same way (FAT32). Two of the drives are read by the TV with no problems, the two others are not recognized at all... Go figure... The slideshow functionality is nice, quite limited, but does the job.
Just for the reference, one of the drives that does work in this TV is Kingston Data Traveler 4GB.

Panasonic VIERA S1 Series TC-P46S1 46-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV Review

Panasonic VIERA S1 Series TC-P46S1 46-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I ordered the TC-P46S1 from Amazon on July 6. TV was delivered exactly one week later by CEVA logistics. Fantastic service!
Now on to the set. I have owned two televisions in the past 15 years. The first was a 19" Zenith CRT. The second was a cheap 27" Apex CRT that I bought from Sam's Club about seven years ago. I had been waiting to buy a HDTV until a decent 1080p set was available for a price that I considered reasonable if amortized over ten years. Each person has their own definition of reasonable, but I felt that time had finally arrived.
I researched this purchase for about two months. Early on I decided I wanted Panasonic plasma. Plasma is currently the only choice for those who want the best possible picture at a given price point. The only question was which model and what size? There were three models in my price range when I decided to buy: the X1, the S1, and the G10. The X1 series is Panasonic's 720p line of plasmas. It comes in 42" and 50" sizes. For my viewing distance (10 feet), 720p was a definite possibility. The S1 series is Panasonic's lowest 1080p plasma line. The G10 is a step up from the S1 and includes a THX mode and Viera Cast, Panasonic's internet and video on demand service. A decent rule of thumb is that each step up in size is about $200 and each step up in model type is about $200. For example, the 42" G10 is about the same price as the 46" S1 and the 50" X1.
I created cardboard mock-ups of the 42", 46", and 50" sets and placed them where the TV would go to help determine the correct size. It quickly became clear that 42" was too small while 50" was too large for my personal taste. The 46" was perfect. Unfortunately, this eliminated the X1 series from contention as there is no 46" set in that line. I would have bought the X1 had it been available. That set is the best HDTV for the money that is offered right now, IMO. Still, 46" was the sweet spot for me, so I was going to have to move up to a better model. Now the question was should I go with the TC-P46S1 or TC-P46G10?
In my case, I was planning on buying the Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray player to go with the set. When I was ready to buy, Amazon was offering $150 off the BD player when purchased with an S1 set or $200 off when purchased with a G10 set. The price of the BD60 itself was $200, so that made the deal irresistible. The BD60 also offers Viera Cast, which would have duplicated that functionality if I went with the G10 set. So the decision came down to whether or not I wanted THX for an extra $150. In the end, I decided the cost was not worth it and went with the S1. I have no regrets about that decision at all.
The color and detail on this set is fantastic. Watching the BBC Planet Earth Blu-ray set in 1080p is awe-inspiring! This set paired with the BD60 is a match made in heaven and a much better setup than many others costing hundreds of dollars more. Colors look realistic (and can be made more realistic with some tweaking or a professional ISF calibration). The set has plenty of connections including three HDMI inputs; however, I've found that pairing this with a good AV receiver that has HDMI output makes the number of the connections on the set irrelevant. Even the onboard sound on the TV is decent, but if you're purchasing a TV of this caliber, you would probably want to hook it up to a decent sound system to fully appreciate the home theater experience. The set also has an SD card slot for viewing photos, so the TV can stand in as a very large digital picture frame if you are so inclined.
One of the knocks against plasmas are that they put off more heat than LCDs. Really, this is a non-issue, IMO. The amount of heat generated is far less than a much smaller CRT. Yes, it's warmer than an LCD, but are you really willing to live with all the faults of LCD (less contrast range, poor off-angle viewing, and poor black levels) just to have a TV that is a little bit cooler? Are you watching TV in your family room or a freezer? One consideration that is a possible concern is that the anti-reflective coating is not very effective. If you have strong reflections that you are unable to control, you may want to consider an LCD, although the best LCDs have glass panels instead of matte screens anyway. Overall, I don't think you can buy a better TV for the money (well, maybe the TC-P50X1). Highly recommended!

Panasonic Viera TH-58PZ800U 58-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV Review

This is just a heads up about pricing.
I placed my order for this television on 9/2/2008.

THE PRICE from AMAZON with FREE SHIPPING was $2,835.21.
Delivery time quoted, when I placed the order, was 1 to 2 months. UPDATE: Amazon delivered my TV on 9/30/2008 (in about a month) in perfect condition at the price I've quoted ($2,835.21).
Prices are changing day by day. In fact, the day after I placed my order, Amazon raised their price by $500.00. That is quite a price increase in one day! Over the course of the next TWO weeks the price went up to match the list price of $3700. So, in just two weeks time, there was a $900 increase in price! Finally prices are drifting lower again. Early in November, the price has dropped back down to the $2800 range.
THE BEST DEAL YET (11/18/2008). Not only has Amazon lowered its price to an all time low of $2689.00 BUT Amazon says that if you add the Panasonic BDK-35 Blu-ray player (CNET - top rated!) to your cart you will get an additional $300.00 off the combined purchase. Since this player costs $239.00 you will not only receive the player for free but also save an additional $61.00 off of the price of the TV. This deal is a no-brainer, while it lasts. This player is top-rated and, of course, plays standard DVDs too. UPDATE: Unfortunately Amazon withdrew this offer after only a week.
There were no reviews published when I purchased this set but its 50" sister - the Panasonic TH-50PZ800U - had received top reviews. In fact, the 50" version of this set is widely considered either the best HDTV ever made or second only to the much more expensive Pioneer Kuros. UPDATE: This HDTV was Awarded "Editors Choice" by CNET on 10/3/2008 (now only the 50" Pioneer Kuro Elite is rated higher). CNET even rated this Panasonic 58" a tiny bit better than Panasonic's 50" version due to slightly deeper blacks.
Don't pay too much for this set. This set is just starting to trickle into stores and only, late in September, did Amazon have this TV in stock. I can't see why any consumer would pay any more than I have ($2835.21) and I hope they will pay less.
As a general guideline: I've found that a good discount for a Panasonic Plasma will be at least 25% off of the list price.
What is interesting is how carefully the other merchants listed on Amazon.com follow Amazon's lead on price. On the day I purchased this HDTV there were other merchants that were VERY close to Amazon's total price even after including any shipping charges (one was actually a few dollars less including shipping). Once Amazon raised its price, within 24 hours, all these other merchants raised their prices to match Amazon's new price. That trend has continued with these other sellers closely following Amazon's lead.
Amazon's white glove delivery service works extremely well. I was concerned about this and wondered how Amazon's delivery service would stack up against buying this set in person? Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The TV was delivered on time, it was unpacked, the stand was installed, and the TV was placed where I wanted it (the packaging was also removed). I knew how to connect the TV to all my other components but you certainly shouldn't expect the truckers to know how to do this for you! Still they waited 5 minutes for me to make all my connections and confirm the set was in perfect condition. Even if you don't know how to connect the set (prior to studying the manual) - just plugging it into a wall outlet (no other connections required) and turning it on displays a menu on the screen which confirms it was not damaged in transit.
KUDOS to AMAZON on its White Glove Service! Well Done and hassle free!!!
The picture quality exceeds my wildest expectations, assuming a few important changes are made to the set's default settings. With good high definition content the picture is absolutely stunning, better than what I recall was shown at my local movie theatre. High definition movies on HBO really do look better than when I saw them in the theatre. If there is a criticism to be found it is that the default settings are either too dim (THX mode) or too garish (custom mode). However it is easy to adjust the settings to produce a much better picture. I'd encourage everyone to use the settings listed in Greg Lavery's Amazon review (these were first published by CNET and then discussed/updated in the AVS forum). These settings are extremely important if you want the best possible picture and the improvements they yield are NOT subtle! However, having said that, this still may NOT be the best TV for a brightly lit room because it is not the brightest set available and the screen is somewhat reflective. For everyone else, you are purchasing one of the finest HDTVs ever made. The quality and naturalness of the picture is often jaw-dropping. It is hard to explain in words, exactly how good this set is --- even to those of you who have already purchased another HDTV. For example, I purchased a 26" Toshiba HDTV (2008 model) for my office. That HDTV looks pretty poor when compared to this Panasonic. It is almost impossible to overstate the quality of the picture that this set can produce.
Keep in mind this is one, very large, HDTV and it can easily dwarf everything else in a room.
One Final Comment: Know who you are buying from at Amazon. Just below the price if it says "ships from and sold by XXX company" you are NOT buying from Amazon but another company who pays a fee to Amazon to sell products on Amazon's website. While these other companies may be fine - I choose to purchase this HDTV directly from Amazon and NOT from one of these other merchants whose track record I could not as easily evaluate. The shipping policies of these other companies may also vary from Amazon's white glove delivery service.

I've owned this TV for a little less than 2 weeks. Overall i'm very pleased with my purchase. Installation and setup was easy. I'm using this TV with a Dish Network HD DVR receiver. I've also connected an ethernet connection and a standard definition DVD player. Picture quality is excellent. I'm using the "Vivid" setting, but sometimes use the "Standard" setting for casual viewing to save energy, etc. (not sure how much it really saves though ...). Prior to purchase i was considering this model and the 58PZ800U. I elected to purchase this model because of its Viera Cast capability (i.e., the ethernet IPTV connection). The only disappointment so far is that Viera Cast on this TV does not contain Amazon Video on Demand. I've checked various websites and called Panasonic support and it's not certain whether Amazon VOD will be implemented on this TV via a software update. If that is true, I would recommend to other buyers who are considering this model versus the 800U to go with the latter and if they are interested in the Viera Cast capability, to simply purchase a Panasonic Blu Ray player with Viera Cast.

This cable does exactly as promised. HDMI on one side and DVI-D on the other side. The ten feet is good if you have some space between your setups.
Some notes for buyers:
1. To get HDMI video on your monitor through DVI-D, your monitor must be HDCP compliant.
2. This connection only gives you digital video. You need to output sound through another means.

Great Picture, I love the amount of customization available to change picture and sound settings. Set is very stylish and features simple easy to understand menus. The only real drawback of this set is that the screen is REALLY reflective and if there is any light behind the viewer (i.e. window in daytime, even with blinds drawn) it's like looking in a mirror.
Amazons shipping partner Pilot is pretty poor. It took 8 days to ship from PA to CA, and they gave me a choice of several 4 hour windows for delivery but all in the middle of day on weekdays. My only other option was to drive 60 miles each way to pick up the set myself.
